Star Defense Rocks!

Posted in Game by Mitch on March 14, 2010 No Comments yet

I normally hate tower defense games. After five minutes, delete and no-rate — it is just not fair to the developers to give them a low rating because I dislike the genre. Star Defense by ngmoco, however, grabbed me and held on! Great graphics, innovative planetary interface. Normal-mode first planet kicked my butt repeatedly. OK, maybe my lack of practice at other tower defense games is to blame. Then again, maybe ngmoco hit on the right blend of easy to grasp interface and challenging game play. Another winner.

Get Star Defense. $0.99, now! Star Defense

If you don’t believe me, you can get Star Defense Prelude, the free version, to see for yourself.

Sniper Strike Fun, Easy to Pickup

Posted in Game by Mitch on March 13, 2010 No Comments yet

Sniper Strike engages quickly Six locations, multiple weapons give it variety and add to the challenge. Kill everyone on screen as fast as you can, or pick your target out of the crowd and beat the clock to keep getting more targets. A third mode, capture the flag, looks like fun, but I have not tried it yet. Still earning money to buy better sniper rifles! Sniper Strike is #3 in iTunes Free Apps.
